Playtime

Playtime exists at the intersection of fashion design and interactive technologies. It references two key scenes of Tati’s film. Playtime explores the concept of transformation. In the context of a fashion show with sounds and lighting, the possibility for the viewer to photograph or shoot the dresses on video is rendered difficult: they will appear blurry in the recorded image. The first dress will appear blurry and the second dress will react to the flash of the camera, itself becoming a light source when a photo is taken.

Bamboo lattice

In Vietnam, we see the bamboo lattice technique in many products such as boats, furniture, chicken cages, lanterns... Bamboo lattice is strong, inexpensive, and easy to make. My vision is to create a resort wear fashion that is exciting and graceful, sophisticated and charming. I applied this bamboo lattice detail to some of my fashions by converting the raw, hard regular lattice to soft material. My designs combine tradition with modern form, the hardness of the lattice pattern and sand softness of fine fabrics. My focus is on form and details, bringing charm and feminineness to the wearer.

UMBRELLA COAT

This raincoat is a combination of a rain coat, an umbrella and waterproof trousers. Depending on the weather conditions and the amount of rain it can be adjusted to different levels of protection. His unique feature is that it combines raincoat and umbrella in one item. With the “umbrella raincoat” your hands are free. Also, it can be perfect for sport activities like riding a bicycle. In addition in a crowded street you do not bump into other umbrellas as the umbrella-hood extends above your shoulders.

The Shape of Old Memory

The creation of this series of works comes from the designer’s thinking on the innovative application of traditional craft culture in contemporary design and its innovative application value. Traditional craft culture is like a treasure sunk in the deep sea. People can perceive its existence and value but rarely touch it. If it is not salvaged, it will fade away and disappear, which is regrettable. Another innovation in this work is the use of epoxy resin AB glue, it can help the work maintain its good shape like sculpture, and, pay an important role in decoration.

Blue Ants

Blue Ants was inspired by the famous historical event in China, the Cultural Revolution. During this decade, people regardless of gender and age spontaneously wore uniform blue overalls, so they were called blue ants by people in other countries. In terms of materials, this project mainly focuses on fashion and textile design using old clothes transformation, cyanotype photography, and laser cutting, striving to design clothing that is both environmentally friendly and fashionable.

It's beautiful and fragile, flimsy and tough, and it shows the X-ray world of life.
